Pi

English is odd. But for lack of a vowel Pi is a dessert. It is rather like appl. Appl Pi. The same vowel is missing to make the words savory but it could be any vowel although it could not be just any word. Rather like a circular firing squad isn’t it? A literary firing squad. Would you like to have been the one to formulate the English language? Personally, I can find better things to do like vacuum or wash dishes. A walk in a light rain is also better than screwing around with letters to solve and salve the grunts of prehistoric language.Then again, there’s farming. Two vowels in farming and they appear to need to be there don’t they. Unlike Pi which is half on the side of a=mathematics with just a bit of a toe into English. Maybe half a toe after that farming accident?

There are not many vowels so, once again, you have to wonder about the geniuses that came up with English. A complex language but should we be happy it is not Mandarin? Writing Mandarin is more an art form isn’t it? English was meant to be used on a typewriter it would seem. A printing press if you work under lantern light.

Pi. Two letters demanding an answer that cannot be answered in letters but, rather, mathematical symbols and numbers. Pie is much simpler although there is math involved in making pies correctly. Too much flour will ruin the dough as will too much water. A ticklish thing not to be done without math or arithmetic. This is why math should be taught in schools though those who think they are the bright stars of education seem to be against our kids learning something as simple as making an apple or cherry pie.

Is there something wrong with simplicity? The bible is quite simple so that those who are short on education can receive benefit from it. It can also be quite complex if one is more inclined to want to decipher some aspects of the bible. Either way, Pi is not mentioned once in the bible and whether Pi is older or the bible is older is debatable. Either way, done right the result is sweet and succulent.
