3.14 & On & On

Pi is not the only item in our reality that can go ad infinitum. It seems now, that at age seventy-eight I am a Pi of sorts. One cannot expect to go through both combat and being a speed demon plus drinking copious amounts of booze to reach my age. For the most part, however, I have grown up although it took longer than my years indicate. I was a hell of a guy, was I.

Recently I, of course, broke my hip and that landed me in the thinking position which means, in my case, a hospital bed on some of the best drugs I’ve ever been given – OPIOIDS. After having managed to stop drinking on my own but with prayer I ended up with great drugs but when they were gone I missed them not. Now I just need to heal so that I can begin a walking regimen once again.

Listen to me go on! I just told you twice as much as I intended and this is because I’ve been sober for almost fifteen years. Drunky was funky and sobriety is anchors. That thing you just read is one of the worst sentences you will ever read. I can’t do a thing about it now except to promise you no more of that malarkey. Serious is coming but when I don’t know.
